Charan's daughter Damini, a 20-year-old college-going girl, has been in love with an her father's assistant director Chandru since the past three years. At first, Charan agreed to the marriage and asked them to wait for two years to tie the knot. But now, he changed his mind and warned Chandru with serious consequences if he stays in touch with his daughter. Fearing threat to his life, Chandru fled the city and gone into hiding. Taking advantage of the situation, Charan told to Damini that Chandru has decided to go out of her life. Finally, Damini came to know the truth when she contacted Chandru's family.
Recently, Damini left her home and filed a complaint against her father with the police accusing him of threatening to kill her lover. She sought the help to know her boyfriend's whereabouts. Damini was accompanied by Chandru's sister and mother when she approached the Police Commissioner.
Chandru's Mother told that her son was ready to end ties with Charan's Daughter, but it was Damini who is adamant on marrying him at any cost.
On the other hand, Charan claimed it is his responsibility to save her daughter from the game played by Chandru. He feels Damini is yet to understand that she is being cheated in the name of love.
