My Life in Text Books? Sorry!: Modi
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 May 2014 5:28 AM GMTPrime Minister Narendra Modi opposed the idea of including his life as a chapter in school textbooks. "Am reading in the news that some states want to include Narendra Modi's life struggles as a part of their school curriculum. I firmly believe that the life story of living individuals should not be included as a part of the school curriculum," he told, after several BJP-ruled states came up with the idea.
Modi also suggested the State Governments to prefer Stalwarts who weren't alive Today. "India has a rich history of several stalwarts who made India what it is today. Young minds should read about these greats & emulate them."
The reluctance of Narendra Modi to feature in the Text Books will be surely appreciated by one and all. May be, He will find a place in the school text books across the country one day.
