Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, an adopted prince of Mysore kingdom will soon tie the knot with his fiancee Trishika Kumari Singh of the royal family of Rajkot. The wedding will be solemnised on June 27 and the grand wedding will be held in Amba Vilas which will be attended by members of the royal family, dignitaries and those close to the royal family.

A formal "lagna pathrika" ceremony was held at the Chamundi Thotti of the Mysuru Palace on Monday morning to finalise the date, where both Yaduveer Wadiyar and his fiance were present at the ceremony

Yaduveer was crowned as the 27th prince of Mysuru on May 28, 2015 in the palace and he was adopted by mother-queen Pramoda Devi, widow of Srikanta Datta Wodeyar who was the last scion of the dynasty.

The royal family is gearing up for a high profile wedding after a gap of 40 years . Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar's wedding was held in 1976 and it was the last grand wedding event of Mysore kings. Yaduveer was engaged to Trishkika on his return from the US late last year. A grand reception will also be held in the palace a day after the wedding on May 28.
