Nagarjunasagar exit polls predict gloom for BJP

While the whole nation was fixated on the exit poll results of the five states that went to polls, the political observers were focused on the exit poll of the Nagarjunasagar bypolls. This is so because it's a crucial bypoll that will shape the politics for the coming year or two.
The TRS wants to regain its lost ground because of Dubbak and GHMC debacles, while the Congress wants to win to stay afloat. As for the BJP, it needs to win this election as the defeat in the graduate MLC polls has left the party cadre demoralized. This defeat could also mean swansong for veteran of many a political battle K Jana Reddy.
If the exit polls done by Public Pulse, AARAA and Mission Chanakya are any indication, there are two certainties. Firstly, the TRS will win Nagarjunasagar comfortably. Secondly, the BjP is sure to come a cropper. It will lose its security deposit. Its votes would hover between 4.5 per cent and 7 per cent. While Public Pulse said that the BJP would get 4.5 per cent, the others have given slightly higher percentage.
Most importantly, the TRS will get a vote percentage ranging from 45 per cent to 50 per cent. Thus, the victory would be conclusive and absolute. The Congress votes would be around 35 per cent, which clearly shows that the party is slipping in popularity.
