Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has approved the appointments of 11 leaders as General Secretary of Mahila Congress and four other party leaders as the heads of state Mahila Congress units.
Usually, Sonia Gandhi used to approve such appointments and announcement comes in the name of AICC Chief. But, Rahul taking the charge should be seen as an incremental growth ahead of his elevation as Congress President
