Why This Ex-MLA Locked Himself At Home?
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Sep 2018 5:33 AM GMTDissidence is taking its toll on the TRS. Nallala Odelu, one of the two MLAs who was denied ticket in the first list of 105 candidates, is on a warpath. After having failed to secure an appointment with Chief Minister KCR, he has decided to lock himself in his house along with his family. At about 6 AM on Tuesday, 15 family members of the Odelu family have locked all entry points into the house. He said that he would open the doors only when the Chief Minister relents and re-nominates him.
Nallala Odelu represents Chennur assembly constituency. When the assembly was dissolved and KCR announced the list of 105 candidates, only two names of the sitting MLAs were found missing. One was Babu Mohan from Andhole and the other one was Odelu. Instead of Odelu, KCR nominated Balka Suman for the seat.
Since then, Odelu met KTR and appealed to him to re-nominate him. But, KTR flatly refused. Then he tried to seek an appointment with KCR. But, KCR has not even given an appointment to him. Upset over this, Odelu locked himself with his family members and said that he would take the 'toughest' decision if he did not hear soon from the KCR.
