On Thursday evening, Flying Squad-led by Officer Anand Vijay stopped the car of Namitha in Selam District for checking. Namitha and people in her vehicle had an argument with the Flying Squad. They permitted to search the car only after the Flying Squad made it clear that everyone has to obey the orders of the Election Commission. Cops let the car of Namitha leave as no valuables were found it.
Carrying more than Rs 50,000 and Ornaments without documented evidence is going to be risky as long as there is Model Code of Conduct.
