Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing everything he can for the people of his Hindupur Assembly Constituency. After his intervention, AP Government sanctioned 1,000 houses to Hindupur under NTR Rural Housing scheme.
Earlier, State Government has offered 1,000 houses for Hindupur. Still, Balayya wasn't satisfied and hence he ensured the number got doubled. Public Representatives, Housing Department Officials and TDP Leaders are now identifying the beneficiaries. Priority is to provide housing for the poor in Chilapmathuru, Lepakshi and Hindupur rural areas. While 17.1% houses will be allotted for SCs, 5.33% for STs and 6% for Minorities. Others will receive 70% of the houses.
Each unit would cost Rs 1.5 lakh. While Rs 95,000 will be provided through AP Housing scheme, Another Rs 55,000 would be sanctioned Upadhi Hami scheme.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna are determined to construct houses for all the homeless in the Hindupur constituency by 2019 General Elections.
