The movie ticket rates regularization in Andhra Pradesh doesn't seem to end anytime soon. The Tollywood film industry suffered a big shock when Prabhas' Radhe Shyam had to face some issues despite the government ensuring help for high ticket films that were made over the budget of Rs 100 crore.

The hopes pinned by the industry on having a better situation for the releases went for a toss after the release of Radhe Shyam. It is said that the ticket prices were allowed to be increased for a maximum amount of Rs 25 per ticket. As a result, the film collections had to face some cuts.

Ahead of the release of RRR, director Rajamouli, and producer D. V. V. Danayya went to Andhra Pradesh to meet the Chief Minister the other day. Everyone thought that CM Jagan might have told them the good news that the Pan-India release RRR will have some relaxation.

Along with NTR, Ram Charan fans, the movie lovers also felt that RRR might get more benefits from the Andhra Pradesh government in the form of extra shows, benefit shows, and other relaxations.

Now here comes the twist in the tale. Pouring water on the hopes of fans and movie lovers, Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani made it clear that no benefit shows will be allowed in the state and the government is strictly against the practice of having benefit shows for the films.

Adding further, Nani said that he was not present at the meeting and the director-producer duo met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy only to thank him for issuing a new GO on the regularisation of the movie tickets in the state.

Experts say that Nani's comments indirectly indicate that RRR will not have relief and might also not get paid premiers like Telangana. This would have an indirect impact on the film talk. His comments also raised a doubt that the government is in no mood to hike the ticket prices.

While Radhe Shyam was allowed to hike the ticket prices up to a certain limit, there is no comment on the same for RRR. Taking all these developments into consideration, we can think that RRR might not get special treatment despite being a Pan-Indian film.
