Why iS Brahmani Being Projected?

Usually, Balayya Babuâs daughter and Chandrababu's daughter-in-law Brahmani keeps a very low profile and makes very rare appearances in public. Her work is limited to the Heritage Industries. She is usually seen only when the Nara family's group photos are released. But of late, Brahmani is coming under the arc lights once too often. She is hitting headlines at regular intervals.
The first time we saw her was when Rahul Gandhi visited AP few months ago. Brahmani was among the top Rs 100 crore industrialists who met Rahul Gandhi. That was the first indication that something was cooking between the TDP and the Congress. After that there was a lull. But, now there are some very interesting pointers. She has out of the blue sent best wishes to 'brother' NTR for the success of Aravinda Sametha. She praised his performance and sent Dasara gifts. This is very significant as she hadnât done something like this earlier. Though NTR had scored bigger hits, Brahmani never sent him congratulatory messages.
Then she announced that she was adopting 10 villages in the cyclone affected North coastal Andhra. Usually, people adopt one or two villages. Adopting 10 villages is unusual. Soon after, Manchu Manoj has tweeted to praise her gesture. He called her an inspirational and empowered woman and said a lion (implying Balaiah Babu) will beget only "lioness" (Brahmani). Why did Manchu Manoj react so effusively? All these indicate that there is a concerted effort to project Brahmani in a very positively. There are also indications that she is being projected for a bigger role. This is significant as general elections are just a few months away. So, after son Lokesh, is Chandrababu trying to bring Brahmani into politics? Well! We may have to wait for sometime to know the answer.
