Nara Family holds the grip on Telugu Desam Party since decades & it's a undeniable fact. Till the late 90s, Even Nandamuri Babus made their presence felt in the party in some way or the other. After a point, They were completely sidelined by Chandrababu Naidu. It's only after the defeat in 2004, Naidu began giving some importance to Nandamuri Family again and Harikrishna was made Rajya Sabha MP for a term.
Chandrababu Naidu kept sidelining Nandamuri Family once Harikrishna opposed the growing importance for Lokesh in the party at Mahanadu. Even Harikrishna & his Sons stayed away from poll campaign in 2014 Polls after the fallout. Post the victory of TDP in last election, Nandamuri Trio were made to sit among the people during the swearing-in ceremony.
The same scene repeated during Today's oath taking ceremony. While Nara Lokesh took the oath as Minister, Nandamuri Family members were seen sitting among people. What qualification does Lokesh have other than being CM's Son to be a Minister? Even Balakrishna wasn't given priority. Harikrishna's appeal seeking Rajya Sabha seat was ignored completely. Despite this humiliation, How did Nandamuri Heroes have a smile on their faces?
