IT Minister Nara Lokesh will be inaugurating Cyber Tower in Visakhapatnam on August 24th. Notably, It was his father and CM Chandrababu Naidu who inaugurated Cyber Towers in Hyderabad several years ago and transformed the city into an IT Hub.

Visakha's Cyber Tower premises is being taken on lease by the AP Electronics and IT Agency (APEITA) to attract IT Investments. This 11-floor structure have a built-up area of one lakh square feet and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The annual turnover of Visakha IT Sector is around Rs 2,000 crore. Already, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra and few other leading IT Firms have been carrying out their operations in the Port City.

AP Government is keen to make Visakha an IT Hub. Millennium Tower to be established at Rushikonda will have 2 lakh square feet office space. Most importantly, This structure costing APIIC as much as Rs 180 crore is Cyclone-restraint.
