Narendra Modi's approval rating sees decline of 20 percent

American based data intelligence firm 'The Morning Consult' said that Modi's approval rating saw a decline by 20 percent.Now his ratings stood at 66 percent which was at 86 percent in August last year.
Despite his graph coming down, the Indian Prime Minister enjoys a better ratings than the other global leaders.
In a tweet, Morning Consult firm said that Narendra Modi's rating stood at 66 percent which is the highest compared to the other global leaders.
"MorningConsult, which tracks national ratings of the elected leaders of 13 countries, shows a 20-point slide over the past year in the proportion of Indians who approve of Mr Modi. Yet at 66% in early June, he still outperforms all the rest," the tweet reads.
Interestingly, his approved ratings rise to 86 percent in August last year when the Centre took the dare decision to abolish Article 370.
