Narendra Modi attains First Class in MA

A plea of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to Information Commissioner Sridhar Acharyulu on the educational qualification of Modi brought to limelight that PM fared well in examinations to claim himself as an above-average student.
In response to AAP Chief's request, The Central Information Commission (CIC) sought details about Narendra Modi's educational performance from both Gujarat and Delhi Universities.
As per Gujarat University records, Modi scored 62.3 percent in Political Science in the year 1983. The subjects of the 2-year course done by him include Political Science, Modern India/Political Analysis, Political Psychology and European & Social Political Thoughts. Modi scored 237 out of 400 in 1st year of MA and 262 out of 400 in 2nd year of MA.
When Modi was studying pre-science which is a 1-year course equivalent to Class XII, Current Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel was a second yer MSc student of Inorganic Chemistry. Even their roll numbers were one and the same - 71.
