Box-Office: Modi is a Disaster
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Jun 2019 5:54 AM GMTNarendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the second time. The victory in the 2019 elections is bigger than the one he tasted in 2014. The entire nation is swept away by Modi wave but somehow the movie buffs were not moved by the same. The makers of PM Modi failed to cash this Modi craze to make money on the film. The film that released just a day after the film's release has now ended as a big disaster in Bollywood.
Although the film initially created a buzz in the film circles, it failed to generate the same positive buzz by the time it made way to the theatres. The film collected a mere 16 crores gross in the first week which is very less considering the content that the makers wanted to tell the audiences.
Starring Vivek Oberoi in the title role, the film was directed by Omung Kumar. The critics straightaway rejected the movie citing that the film lacked impressive narration. The makers clearly failed in creating excitement to know more about Modi's life.
The film was dubbed into Telugu and Tamil but the film is yet to hit the screens.
