TDP Gone Against NTRs Aspirations: Modi
X
Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed TDP for forming alliance with Congress against the principles with which NTR floated the party in 1982. He went on to say Opposition Parties have been uniting in the country to form Grand Alliance only for their political mileage.

While interacting with booth workers from Tamil Nadu through Video Conference, Narendra Modi questioned, 'Is it Grand Alliance or Mahagatbandhan? It's for the sake of getting hold of power, not in the best interest of people. Just for personal survival, not ideology-based. Leaders of this Alliance claims to have inspired from Ram Manohar Lohia who had always opposed Congress. Many of these Opposition Leaders were arrested and harassed during the 1975 Emergency. Congress spared none including MGR's AIADMK Government in 1980 though the Actor-turned-Politician had people's support'.

Needless to say that Opposition Parties have been uniting for dethroning Narendra Modi-led NDA from power rather than for people's aspirations. Though poll prospects of Congress has increased when compared to the shocking result in 2014, Rahul Gandhi is yet to emerge as the best choice for PM Post. Narendra Modi is slightly ahead of Congress Prince in this category.
