Modi Dedicates World's Tallest Statue To Nation

PM Narendra Modi unveiled the 182-metre high 'Statue Of Unity' which was set up in memory of India's Iron Man & First Home Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel on Wednesday. Three Air Force Planes created a tricolor in the sky after the Prime Minister inaugurated the giant bronze statue.
India's 'Statue of Unity' is twice taller than 'Statue of Liberty' (93 metres) in US & 29 metres taller than Spring Temple Buddha (153 metres) in China. Gallery set up at a height of 153 metres inside the Tallest Statue offers a good view of 1,210 metre long Sardar Sarovar Dam. Patel Museum, 17-km Long Valley of Flowers and Tent City will be a delight to watch for Tourists.
Narendra Modi dedicated the monument built with Rs 2,389 crore on Sadhu Bet Island on Narmada River to the Nation. Statue Of Unity was built using 70,000 tonnes of Cement, 18,500 tonnes of reinforced steel, 6,000 structural tonnes and 1,700 tonnes of bronze.
