Don't blame Me! Even Congress supported it: Modi

BJP Leaders had proudly declared the launch of GST on July 1st as memorable day in Indian history. After the tax reform had affected the revenues of State Governments, They are now saying even Opposition Parties had favored GST to counter the criticism.
At the rally in Gandhi Nagar, Narendra Modi said: 'Decision on GST wasn't taken by me alone. Congress and nearly 30 other political parties have supported this tax reform. All parties and states have voted in favour of GST. It's unfair on part of UPA to spread lies and mislead the people. There is no progress during UPA rule. So, Congress Leaders aren't able to digest the development done by GST'.
Opposition Parties have found fault with Centre for launching GST without necessary infrastructure. Traders and Consumers were left confused due to multiple slabs and change in tariffs.
BJP is hopeful that GST will yield good results in the long run and boost the economic growth of the country.
