Narendra Modi gives assurance on Special Status

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an assurance to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that a decision on special category status will be taken very soon.
NaMo informed Naidu that NITI Aayog submitted its reports on AP's demand for Special Status to Centre already. Now, The Union Government will go through the findings and take a decision.
Ahead of Union Budget session, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu submitted his wish list which include special status & special package for the residuary state to PM Modi. He also urged Modi to take care of AP Budget Deficit of Rs 16,078 crore and bifurcation of AP Bhavan in New Delhi.
Chandrababu Naidu took time to meet Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu during this Delhi tour for seeking allocation of funds & railway zone/lines to AP.
