In response to the allegation that he accepted Rs 40 crore bribe from Sahara & Birla when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi said: 'There is a Youth Leader who is learning to give speeches. Since he began learning to speak, There is no limit to my happiness. Had if he not spoken, There could have been an earthquake and people might have to deal with it for 10 years. Good that he began speaking and we now know there is no chance of an earthquake'.
Modi described demonetisation as a cleanliness drive. He claims to have never thought Opposition Parties would stand with the corrupt. He told the chaos in Parliament during winter session over note ban is like ever fire that Pakistan offers to terrorists.
Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi alleged Sahara Group paid 9 times in sic months to Modi in 2013 and 2014. He also accused Modi of accepting bribe from Birla Group in 2013.
