Narendra Modi's Speech At UN A Big Hit
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Sep 2019 5:58 AM GMTPrime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Friday. He stressed the need for the international community to unite and collectively fight against terrorism. 'Terrorism isn't a challenge for one country but for the whole World and humanity. India, which gave Buddha's Message of Peace to the World, raised voice against terror with seriousness and anguish. Lack of unity among us is against the principles on what basis UN was created. Swamy Vivekananda offered his message of harmony and peace to the Parliament of Religions, not Dissension. India which have World's biggest democracy still believes in harmony and peace,' he told.
NaMo stressed the need for focus on climate change, poverty eradication, renewable energy and progress achieved by India in the past 5 years. During the current US Trip, PM didn't made a direct reference to Pakistan at least once but he conveyed the message to the World that the neighbouring nation is encouraging terrorism.
Union Minister Amit Shah applauded Narendra Modi saying Indian PM spoke like a true statesman at the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Prime Minister's Office informed that congratulatory messages kept pouring after Modi's speech at UN and there was a heavy rush for selfies.
