People across the state have celebrated the second formation day with high spirits. The government has organized several events across the state to mark the formation day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took to twitter to wish the people of Telangana on the auspicious day. Modi hopes that the newly formed state will progress to new heights on coming years and also conveyed greetings to Andhra Pradesh people.
"On the statehood day of Telangana, my greetings to the people of Telangana. I hope the state progresses to new heights in the years to come," Modi tweeted.
"I convey my greetings to my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh. My best wishes as the state continues to develop at a rapid pace," Modi added
KCR has participated in a special programme organized by the government at Parade grounds and said that state is marching fast towards a 'Golden Telangana'.
