Ban on Diesel Vehicles in Amaravati

Diesel Vehicles won't be allowed into AP Capital. However, This isn't a decision taken by TDP Government.
National Green Tribunal made it clear that a ban would be imposed on Diesel Cars in Amaravati. Citing the alarming pollution in New Delhi, The Tribunal opined: 'This is a preventive measure to ensure Amaravati doesn't become another Delhi'.
During the hearing of the petition filed against construction of AP Capital, NGT Chairman Justice Swathantra Kumar questioned AP Government's Counsel AK Ganguly what kind of vehicles will be allowed into Amaravati. It's then, An indication was sent to AP Government that Diesel Vehicles can't be allowed at any cost.
When AK Ganguly informed about the benefits offered to AP Capital Farmers, National Green Tribunal questioned, 'Is State Government committed to fulfill all those promises?'.
