Going by the directions of the Supreme Court, the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to construct and manage the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Teerth Kshetra comprises 15 trustees.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has launched a nationwide fund collection drive for Bhavya Ram Mandir. The fundraiser was launched on January 15. The devotees can voluntarily donate money. They can donate Rs 10, Rs 100, and Rs 1,000 for the temple. The trust has printed the coupons in the three denominations.
According to the media reports, the nationwide fundraiser received a massive response from devotees and more than Rs 1500 crores have been collected as of February 12, less than one month of the drive. The count is expected to go up.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has earlier announced that Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be constructed in a way that the city will emerge as a major tourist center.
From normal people to politicians to cricketers, donations poured in for the fund-raising drive of Bhavya Ram Mandir construction. The Ram Mandir is expected to be completed before the 2024 general elections.
