Navy Ship Caught In Storm Sinks In Sea, Few Sailors Missing!

A storm erupted in the sea and hit a warship so hard that it sank in it. The ship that belonged to the navy was carrying around 108 sailors at the time of the disaster. Due to the storm around 31 sailors were missing. However, the rest of them were rescued by the authorities.
The shocking incident happened in the Gulf of Thailand in which a Thai Navy ship sank. It is said that the storm erupted on the 18th of this month, yesterday. This resulted in a power loss in the ship and water entered it.
This resulted in the ship getting sunk. The concerned authorities said that the disaster happened after the ship reached the Gulf of Thailand. The ship was at 32 km off the coast of the Bang Saphan district when it was caught in the middle of the storm.
The Navy authorities swung into action and called for the rescue operation. Around 106 sailors were in the water after the ship sank.76 of the sailors were rescued already and 31 sailors are missing. A rescue operation is underway to save the rest.
Though no casualties were reported as of now, the missing sailors are believed to be in critical condition as the ship sank 32 kilometers away from the coast.
Frigates and Helicopters were deployed by the Navy authorities to rescue the missing sailors. The authorities are hoping that the rescue operation will help in rescuing the sailors who are missing post the disaster.
Media reports say that three of the rescued sailors are not in a good shape and they were sent to the nearby medical facility for treatment. However, there is no information on how their health is now.
