The much-awaited film of the year 'Nayak' has completed the Censor formalities and obtained a 'A' (Restricted to Adults) certificate.
Cuts ordered by the Censor Board:
1. Delete the following dialogues wherever they occur in the movie: "Deenamma, Lipstick, ND Tiwari, AP Governor, Abdul Kalam, Sarvepalli Radhakrishna".
2. Delete the dialogues on Assembly by Posani: "Assemblylo oppositionvallu boothulu thitatharu, mikelu levaa-thisi kottu, ballalu levaa-virago kottu, chokkalu levaa-chinchi kottu, rajakeeyalki kottha raktham kavaalanedi body builders kaavali, muscles kaavali".
3. Mute the following lyrics in the item song: "Yevvaram, middy oddy, thadi podia, wherever occur in movie.
The duration of the film after implementing the cuts suggested by CBFC is 160 minutes (2 hr 40 min). Films buffs need to wait just few more hours to enjoy this commercial potboiler on the silver screen.
