By: Tupaki Desk | 29 March 2022 7:13 AM GMTThe news of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan getting arrested and undergoing a jail period had shaken the whole nation. The Maharashtra government and other parties have condemned the incident saying that Aryan Khan was arrested without proper evidence. He was granted bail by the High Court on a few conditions.
Many people wanted to know what The Special Investigation Team (SIT) wing of the Narcotics Control Bureau would mention in its charge sheet in connection with the case as the last date for filing the charge sheet is fast approaching.
But the case took an unexpected turn with the NCB reportedly seeking some more time to file a charge sheet. Media reports say that the NCB sought as many as 90 days to file a charge sheet saying that many things have to be looked into.
If this is true, then the case will be pushed to three months further as until the charge sheet is filed the case cannot move further. The other accused in the case besides Aaryan Khan have to wait now to know what the NCB has to say about them. Based on the same, the accused have to think about the further course of action.
Getting back into the case, the alleged party on a cruise ship was busted by the Narcotics Control Bureau. After busting the party, Aryan Khan and a few others were banned by the NCB. Later, they were sent to jail going by court orders.
After a lot of struggles, Aryan Khan got a big relief by getting bail on October 28 last year. After spending close to one month in jail, he was given bail along with the other accused. While giving bail, the High Court had imposed a few restrictions and conditions on the accused.
After the case came to light, many people had raised doubt if Aryan Khan was targeted with some vested interests. Adding fuel to this, one of the witnesses in the case Prabhakar Sail alleged that there might be an extortion racket behind this, and Shah Rukh Khan was demanded to pay a sum of Rs 25 crore to let Aryan out of this.
