Neither YCP nor CM Jagan interested in MAA Elections: Perni Nani

Talking about his rapport with the politicians, Manchu scion Vishnu said that Telangana IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao is his friend and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is his brother-in-law. His comments had created a storm in the election row.
These comments had led to the media reports claiming that the Andhra Pradesh government is allegedly working for Manchu Vishnu's win in the elections indirectly. The situation had reached a point that the AP Government had to issue a clarification on these reports.
Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani cleared the airs on the media speculations and made it clear that the government has nothing to do with the elections and they are no more concerned about the issue.
âThe government has no interest in the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) elections. Neither YSRCP nor Chief Minister Jagan has any business with the elections. All these reports are fake and rubbish and there is no truth in these reports,â the Minister said.
Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj are currently busy campaigning for the elections, while keeping their attack on the opponent focused. They are holding press meets at regular intervals as part of their intense campaign.
Talented actor Prakash Raj, who gained fans across the languages with his mind-blowing performance had forayed into the MAA elections issue and announced his candidacy for the President position. He is supported by the Mega family. Mega brother Nagababu and producer Bandla Ganesh had earlier campaigned for Prakash Raj and held press conferences.
Another contestant Manchu Vishnu is making sure that he gets support from the senior heroes in the industry by visiting them. According to the Mosagallu actor, Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and Nandamuri Andagadu Balakrishna have extended their support to him in the elections, for which he had thanked them.
