Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian award in India. Indian government confers this award to the persons who excel in the fields of Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Medicine, Social Service and Public Affairs. But this award is for sale now..that too for a cheap price of Rs.4 crores. How is it possible? Who did this?
A police officer who is supposed to uphold the law has done all this for the sake of money. Kakarla Sesharao is working as CI in CCS Police Station In Gudur. He projected himself to be a politically influential guy in Nellore, Chittoor and Guntur districts. He collected money from several farmers saying that he will bring them Padma Shri Award in the agriculture sector. Similarly, he has collected more than Rs.4 crores form a farmer named Rayapaneni Ramanaiah Naidu. As the farmer became suspicious later, he complained to the police regarding the issue. The police swung into action to arrest Kakarla Sesharao and submitted him before the court.
Gudur 1 Town police station CI revealed all these details in the press meet. He said that Kakarla Sesha Rao cheated many people. Not only that, Palvai Prasanna alias Gaddam Prasanna family members have cheated aqua farmer Rayapaneni Ramanaiah Naidu. This case has created a sensation in the police department.
