Net Neutrality Issue: LK Advani shocks Modi Govt!

Net neutrality is a demand to treat all lawful Internet content in an unbiased manner by online service providers.
Opposition accused Modi Government of trying to gift internet space to the corporate groups. Congress Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao and Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien demanded Government to invite representatives of consumer forums for the meeting. The opposition also complained they received the 120-page background note given by Telecom Operators only last evening and hence there is no time for them to read it. At one point, LK Advani said both points are relevant and let's call a meeting later.
It was then BJP's Anurag Thakur appealed the Opposition Parties to at least listen to the version of Telecom Representatives so that Panel Members can raise their objections later. Soon, The Opposition Members commented batting and fielding in a cricket match can't be done separately. Finally, The meeting has been called of after 50 minutes of heated exchanges.
