The Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi banned 59 Chinese apps, including TikTok in India the other day. Following the decision, many expressed doubt, why the government didn't ban PUBG and Zoom in India.

Some media reports claim that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game, popularly known as PUBG, doesn't belong to the Dragon Country, as the game was developed and published by a South Korean Video game company.

PUBG Corporation, a supplementary of Bluehole, a South Korean Video game company developed the game, while the Tencent Games company is a publishing partner of the game.

The other app Zoom which is often linked to China went through scrutiny in many instances in the past. The company recorded huge profits ever since the pandemic started is a product of Zoom Communications, Inc, which is an American company. The company headquarters is located in San Jose, California.
