Here's some tough competition for Heritage milk in Telangana. Yes. Telangana finance minister and TRS biggie T Harish Rao is now entering into dairy business. He is now said to be promoting a family business in his wife's name and the Tanneeru family will foray into the dairy sector.
The milk would be branded as Milchy Mik and Harish Rao's wife Srinitha Rao would be the owner of the firm. The company will not just produce milk, but will also market milk-based sweatmeats and other products like Paneer and Khowa. The initial market would be in undivided Medak, Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri and would then gradually expand to other districts in Telangana like Karimnagar and Nizamabad.
Chandrababu Naidu's family business of Heritage milk, foods and other products has wide market across the undivided state of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from State-owned Vijaya Dairy and Milks, Heritage has a significant share of dairy market in both the states. Later Chandrababu diversified into Heritage retail showrooms across the state.
