AP Reported Highest Spike Of Fatalities In 24 Hours

As per the health bulletin issued by the health department, a total of 62,123 samples were tested in a single day and 10,080 fresh infections were detected in the state. So far, 24,24,393 samples were tested in the state.
In the last 24 hours, 97 patients lost their lives to the virus and the total fatalities in the state rose to 1,939. This is the highest number of fresh fatalities reported in a single day.
With 9,151 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, the total recoveries zoomed to 1,29,615. There are 85,486 active cases in the state.
East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region in the state as the region has as many as 30,160 infections and 218 casualties including six fresh fatalities.
