With a spike of 5509 new infections, AP's caseload rose to 7,55,727

In the last 24 hours, 75,517 samples were tested, and as many as 5,509 fresh infections were detected. So far, a total of 65,69, 616 samples have been tested in the state.
According to the information provided by the media bulletin, 30 patients have succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours. With this, the total casualties rose to 6,224.
The fresh recoveries have also decreased in the state. As many as 5,509 patients were declared cured and discharged from the hospitals accordingly, in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries in the state rose to 7,03,208.
Andhra Pradesh currently has 46,295 active cases. For the first time, the gap between the recovered cases and active cases increased to over 12 times.
