That's the reason why Rahul Gandhi interacted with former Reserve Bank of India governor Raghurama Rajan. He is now planning to have more such interactions with politcy experts. The man behind this new attempt is said to be Kanishka Singh. Kanishka is a banker with international connections and has links to diplomats. His father SK Singh is a career diplomat. Kanishk Singh is planning Rahul Gandhi's moves and is trying hard to project him as a keen learner of policy. This image will benefit Rahul in the long run.
Kanishk is also said to be quite close to Sonia Gandhi's political adviser Ahmed Patel and senior Rajasthan leader Motilal Vora. Now it is being said that Rahul Gandhi does not do anything without consulting Singh.
