New ploy by TDP-backing Amaravati farmers

Most of the 'farmers' who are now protesting against AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan . Reddy's decision to develop three capital cities, have a common regrain these days. They are repeating ad nauseum that they had voted for the YSRCP in the Assembly elections.
This dialogue is useful in 'blackmailing' the ruling party. Hence they are using it so repeatedly. But, the fact is the farmers wanted their lands back then.
In fact, a large number of farmers had protested against the land acquisition in the name of Amaravati capital city. They had said that the government was forcibly taking away their lands and that they do not want to part with the lands. At one stage, YS Sharmila held a meeting with such persons . Those who attended the meeting had said that they did not want a capital at Amaravati and wanted their lands back. YS Jagan had then categorically stated that not one inch of land would be taken away forcibly. He had even told them that if he comes to power, he would ensure that the lands forcibly taken away from them would be handed back to them.
But, when Jagan had decided that AP would have three capitals, an entirely different section of farmers have started demanding that there should be only one capital. They want the whole state to forego their development for their sake. They are speaking against the equitable development all the regions of the state. They want their region to grow at the expense of other regions. Their argument definitely is not justified. Amaravati, in any case, will develop as the secretariat, assembly and other buildings are there. There would definitely great development in the region. Their only objection appears to be that other regions should not develop and only Amaravati should develop.
