The 73-year-old veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu is one of the tallest leaders in current politics and he had an illustrious career. Recently he expressed his dissatisfaction with politics losing dignity. Talking about the language used by politicians he made these comments.
Venkaiah Naidu's comments turned real. If we look at the recent developments we can agree with him. Forget about others, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not spared. The opposition leaders are not shying away from making objectionable comments.
The current trend among the opposition leaders is that they are making objectionable comments towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A few days back the new Chief of the grand old Congress party Mallikarjun Kharge compared Modi to Demon King Ravan.
Not happy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's face appearing in every election irrespective of the size of the election, Kharge asked Modi if he has 100 heads like Demon king Ravan. "We see your (Modi's) face in corporation election, MLA election or MP election, everywhere - do you have 100 heads like Ravan?" Kharge said.
Now a former Minister made some sensational comments about Modi and said he is like Duryodhan. Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Sabitri Mitra said PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are like Duryodhan & Dushasan. She made the comments at a rally.
It is common for the opposition to target the ruling party and its members. But passing such comments on someone like Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not a small thing and is sending shocking waves all over the country.
