New Twist In Telangana Municipal Polls

As we said earlier the rebels will play a major role in the Municipal election, now the leaders from the major parties started compromising the candidates, who want to contest in the Municipal elections.
In the JanagamaConstituency there are 30 wards, for that 413 people filed the nominations, 167 leaders from TRS filed their nominations. 111 candidates from Congress filed their nominations. 52 people from BJp filed their nominations.
As we said earlier TRS and Congress parties are the main contenders in the Municipal polls. The parties started compromising the leaders who filed their nominations. They are seeing that there should be no rebels. Telangana Chief Minister said that it is the duty of the concerned MLA to select the candidate. Six to seven people filed nominations from the TRS party, three to four people filed the nominations from the Congress party.
The candidates can withdraw the nominations till January 14. The major parties will reveal the selected candidates' names on the last day, as they have a chance to change the party and file the nomination and the B-forms will be given directly to the authorities.
