BJP to be Single Largest Party in RS

BJP is going to emerge as the Single Largest Party in Rajya Sabha in 2018. Altogether, There are 245 Seats in the Upper House. While the strength of Saffron Party will reach 67 this year, NDA's overall tally will go up to 98.
Congress has been dominating in Rajya Sabha since Independence. For the first time ever, It's gonna be slipping to the second spot in the Upper House.
In the past few years, BJP improved its Assembly Seats in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.
Last year, Congress lost power in few states. Giving a tough fight to BJP in Gujarat Assembly Polls gives it some relief. This year, Congress gonna lose 5 Rajya Sabha Seats.
As per the current strength, TRS and Lalu's RJD will get two Rajya Sabha seats each this year. Samajwadi Party gonna offer 5 Rajya Sabha seats to BJP this time.
