New York Woman Succumbs To Trump's Magical Drug

US President Donald Trump is very strong on the decision to use the Hydroxychloroquine drug, an anti-malaria drug as a vaccine to treat the COVID-19 pandemic.
He even pressurized India so that the drug gets exported to the US so that the nation will be able to find a vaccine out of this. Donald Trump even named the Hydroxychloroquine drug as a magical drug.
Now it has been widely reported that a woman in New York who was suffering from COVID-19 lost her life after using Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin. The Azithromycin which is predominantly called Z-pack is used as an antibiotic.
Earlier there was a ban on exporting the anti-malaria drug which was later lifted before sending the drugs to many nations including the US. Exporting the drug has resulted in severe criticism from the opposition in India.
However, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that the hydroxychloroquine cannot be used unless advised by the medical officers.
"The medicine should not be taken without the supervision of the doctor. They only approved its restricted use for emergency situations," ICMR said.
