New Zealand skipper reaches top position in ICC Rankings

Blackcaps skipper Kane Williamson, who took his side to the victory in the recently held World Test Championship (WTC)final had retained his number one position in the ICC Test Rankings.With 901 rating points, Kane Williamson stood at first position, while Steven Smith with a rating points of 891 fell to the second spot.
Australia's Marnus Labuschagne, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and England's Joe Root are at the third fourth and fifth positions respectively.New Zealand's Ross Taylor, improved his rankings by three spots and made it to the 14th position, while Conway reached the 42nd rank in the rankings.
