Udayavani discontinues Prakash Raj Column

Prakash Raj has been vocal about political issues since the brutal murder of Journalist Gauri Lankesh. He kept targeting Narendra Modi and BJP's Hindutva agenda since few months and now ends up facing few consequences.
Since sometime, The columns penned by Prakash Raj have been published by Udayavani daily. For reasons best known to the management, The practise is being discontinued now all of a sudden. Prakash Raj shot back at the hidden forces behind the move by saying, 'Surgical strike. My popular column in Kannada has been abruptly stopped. Dear INVISIBLE HANDS..do you think we can't see you..#justasking'.
The National Award Winning Actor used to discuss politics and current topics in his column. He feels discontinuing his column is nothing but political vendetta.
Whereas, Shiva Subramanya who took reins as Udayavani editor recently denied the influence of any political party on the management. He claims its just an attempt to give an opportunity to new writers and that's a routine exercise in any newspaper.
