Newzealand Whitewashes India In ODI Series With 3-0

This ODI series will be a relief to blackcaps who lost the T20 series cheaply by 5-0.
Asked to bat first India managed to score 296 with the heroics of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer who scored 112 and 62 respectively. Though opener Mayank Agarwal went for 1 run, Prithvi Shaw scored 40 runs off 42 balls.
Surely King Kohli is not having a good series here as he lost his wicket for 9 runs. Though the top order failed miserably Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul came in to rescue the team.
While chasing the 297 target Martin Guptil and Henry Nicholls made a partnership pf 106 runs which was finally broken by Yuzvendra Chahal. While Guptill scored 66 runs, Nicholls scored 80 runs and laid a good foundation.
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson who was out for the first two games was called back but lost wicket after scoring 22 runs in the third One day. While this whitewash is the first for the Kiwis against India, the latter witnessed a whitewash after 30 years.
