In the wake of the Covid fear, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired a review meeting to discuss the situation.
After the conclusion of the meeting, the government has announced the decision of the extension of the existing night curfew in the state.
The night curfew that is in place in Andhra Pradesh was extended till the 21st of this month. The curfew hours remain the same from 10 PM to 6 AM.
The public has been advised to strictly follow the Covid protocols so that the virus won't spread further.
Andhra Pradesh which has been reporting close to 2,000 fresh cases daily has reported 1,535 new cases in the past 24 hours. The state has 18,210 active cases currently.
