Night Curfew in Andhra Pradesh extended for one more time!

As a bid to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus, the Andhra Pradesh government had imposed a night curfew in the state. With the previous night curfew coming to an end, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led Andhra Pradesh government took a key decision.
Media reports said that the night curfew in the state was pushed till the 14th of this month. The night curfew timings will be from 11 PM to 5 AM. Besides pushing the night curfew, the government also issued a few directives to the concerned authorities.
The decision was taken in the wake of the steady rise in the fresh Covid cases. On average thousands of single-day cases are being reported. With the cases showing no sign of coming down, the government had opted to extend the current night curfew to stop the virus from spreading further.
In the guidelines, the Andhra Pradesh government had appealed to the people to not do some things. The don'ts include not coming in contact with people with Covid symptoms and not hugging others.
People were advised to stay away from crowded places and religious places. They were also asked to not sneeze with bare hands as it has the chance of spreading the virus. The government had appealed to not visit the hospital facilities for routine check-ups.
This is not the first time the night curfew was extended in the state. The government had pushed the restrictions a few times. Going by the same trend, the Andhra Pradesh government took the call to extend the night curfew.
Earlier, the government imposed the night curfew last month. Later the night curfew was extended. Now the restrictions were extended further with the cases going up massively.
