Nightmares for Women Continue in Afghanistan in Taliban Rule!
X
Its been close to one year since Afghanistan went into the deadly claws of the Taliban ruling. When the Taliban forces took Afghanistan into its capture, many people and activists expressed their concerns about the safety and rights of women as the Taliban is against women empowerment. Within no time, the Taliban forces proved the fears true.

Bringing a nightmare to the people in Afghanistan mainly the women, the Taliban forces are imposing a crackdown on them. Talking about the women, the Taliban rule is giving many sleepless nights by directing the women to follow the restrictions they impose.

Proving the Taliban rule as tough, the forces are believed to have said no to issuing driving licenses to women. Not just that, even the driving schools and professionals who teach driving were also directed to not take women into driving classes and warned of strict action if violated the norms, media reports said.

The international media said quoting the Afghanistan media outlets that the new restrictions imposed by the Taliban rule had made it clear that women should stay out of driving vehicles and hence the licenses should not be issued to women.

Looking back at the timeline of restrictions imposed by the Taliban regime, after taking the country into their hands, the Taliban had restricted women from stepping out of their houses. The forces also said that, if they want to come out, they need to be accompanied by a male.

As another big shock, the Taliban rule said that women should not do any job in the nation irrespective of the fields. Despite severe criticism and objections from various corners, the Taliban said that women cannot work and directed the government and private offices to send women back to their houses.

It looks like the people in Afghanistan might have to go through the serious consequences as they did in the 1990s. Back in the 1990s, Afghanistan fell before the Taliban forces as the troops were on a spree of capturing one province after the other. When the government fell in 1992, it didn't take much time for the Taliban to capture Afghanistan.
