Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad was taken into custody by the Serbia Police couple of days ago in connection with VANPIC Case.
Representatives of Ras Al Khaimah lodged a complaint against Nimmagadda Prasad regarding VANPIC issue. As a result, Serbia Police took the Industrialist into custody.
Nimmagadda Prasad was actually in Serbia for the vacation with family. Intervention of the Serbia Police was completely unexpected.
External Affairs Ministry is holding talks with Serbia Government for the safe return of Nimmagadda Prasad to India. This Hyderabad-based Industrialist could be released after questioning.
