By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Feb 2021 9:07 AM GMTThe AP Panchayat elections episode which was started as SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar vs the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led AP government took a turn as Nimmaggada Ramesh Kumar vs AP Minister Kodali Nani.
It is known that Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar served showcause to Kodali Nani on the grounds of making comments that degrade the dignity of the State Election Commission. The Minister was directed to give an explanation before 5 PM on Friday.
Reacting to the showcause notice, Kodali Nani said, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar misunderstood his statements and he has immense respect for the Constitutional institutions especially the SEC.
Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who was not satisfied with Kodali Nani's explanation has directed Krishna district SP to register a case against Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani for his comments against him.
He directed the SP to register a case under IPC Section 504, 505(1) (c), 506 under clause-1 and clause -4 for violating the election codes.
Reports claimed that Kodali Nani might knock on the doors of the Andhra Pradesh High Court challenging Nimmagadda's orders like how Pendana MLA Jogi Ramesh did. The High Court permitted him to speak to the media but directed him that other than party and party policies, he should not speak anything other.
