State Election Commissioner of AP Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has once again landed himself in a new controversy as news erupted that Mr. Ramesh has written a letter to Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and requested high security for him and his family and their lives are in threat.
A letter has been circulated across media platforms which was said to be written by the Election Commissioner and in the letter, he has reportedly requested Ajay Bhalla to send central forces for his security as he feels insecure with him postponing the local body polls in the state which irked the YSRCP government.
"I am greatly disturbed and apprehensive for my safety and the security of family members," Ramesh Kumar reportedly said in his letter.
"Looking at the intolerant face of the top leadership of the present dispensation and their faction ridden background and known vindictive nature, I have come to the painful conclusion that my safety and my family's safety is in great peril," he added in his letter.
