OMG: State Minister Attacks Union Minister!

While Nirmala Sitharaman was addressing the press, SR Mahesh informed her it's getting late and asked her to conclude her speech. Defence Minister who lost her cool commented, 'Central Minister follows the Minister in-charge here. Unbelievable'.
When SR Mahesh informed her that their conversation was getting recorded by media, The Union Minister shot back: 'Let it be recorded'.
Karnataka Deputy CM G Parameshwara come down heavily on Nirmala Sitharaman finding fault with her behaviour. He made it clear: 'State Governments derive their powers from our Constitution not from the Centre. The Constitution has distributed powers among the Centre and States to ensure an equitable partnership between both. We are not inferior to the Centre. We are partners'.
Today, Defence Ministry issued a clarification saying Minister SR Ramesh was adamant on ending the meeting with Ex-Servicemen, who were affected by floods, abruptly even after Nirmala Sitharaman insisted their welfare is essential. Ministry of Defence also opined Karnataka Minister has lowered the dignity of Parliament with his actions.
